Meze Audio's Earphones Blend Artisanal Craftsmanship with High-End Technology

Advar is not just an earphone; it's a piece of jewelry. Its silhouette, inspired by organic shapes in nature, houses a powerful, detailed, lifelike sound within a uniquely designed stainless steel chassis. Advar's shell, resembling the rounded surface of raw hematite, is produced by metal injection molding with CNC finishing. The glossy black chrome plating on the main shell is complemented by brass-colored accents on the cable connector, the nozzle, the depressed funnel surrounding the vent, and the Meze Audio logo. Each earphone measures 20 x 20 x 18 mm, a compact size that does not compromise on its sound quality.

Advar is easy to use and pairs well with any device, from phones to complex audio reproduction devices, thanks to its high sensitivity and low impedance. Each unit comes with a detachable cable and a selection of ear tips sizes, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for all users. The ergonomically contoured design paired with the over-ear cable hooks evenly distributes the weight, eliminating discomfort even during long listening sessions.

The project started in 2018 in Baia Mare, Romania, and the final product was officially launched in April 2022. The design process was not without challenges. The goal was to create a frame that matched Meze Audio's vision for beautiful aesthetics, good craftsmanship, and top-notch comfort, but remained lightweight, durable, and easy to use. The result is Advar, a timeless piece of audio art that brings joy and excitement to the listener through both visuals and sound.

Advar's excellence in design and technology has not gone unnoticed. It was awarded the Golden A' Audio and Sound Equipment Design Award in 2023, a prestigious accolade granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations.
